Because I still need sth to check if the URL submitted to Directory exists or not I have such an idea (hope it will be a good idea for Deluxe too),

Next to FETCH META button put the next button called i.e. SITE CHECK - this will check if the url exists in directory or not.

I think the best solution is to make it in javascript - it won;t make a messy in an add-form.

What do you think about it ?

Interesting. I assume you mean to check only the base URL and not the full URL that is submitted?

I'm a little confused on this... If someone is submitting their link to your directory, dont they know if the site url is valid or not? Is it for misspellings? Or some other reason?

A lot of people don;t check via the search egigne if the URL exists in directory or not. So if you give to the people a little button near the METCH META I am sure they will check if the URL exists in database and they won't submit the url again.

It is not just for misspelling - it is just for a check. But it must be done via javascript and get an information about it without loosing filled data's.

Surely it will be a great featire for IU Deluxe (and I need it for 5.4.x)
