Drop down menu with sub categories

Hey,

I was wondering if it was possible to have drop down menus that works like this: First they choose the main category and then all the subcategories will be displayed, and you click one of them. Sort of like when you select the main category the sub drop down menu loads the sub categories of that category. Kind of like this http://dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex...menu/index.htm but in one drop down?

First, the menu looks like this:

Then I select English, and the sub categories for English is shown:

There was a post about that somewhere on the forum. Yes it's possible, no I don't remember the post.

Have been searching almost anything, however I found that it's possible to use AJAX categories. But AJAX didn't work for me, anyone know what that could be?

make sure you clear the cache after you enable ajax. It should work instantly.
