    Default Date Format

    Hi
I have a problem with the "New Listings" page. On the page the "date" part of new entries are not displayed right. I see

    Friday, May #d 2008 (2)

I would like to show it in Arabic if posipple, I added setlocale to my application file, nothing

if not, then I want it to look like this:

    2/5/2008 (2)

I dont know where the #d is coming from instead of day date.

I am on Indexu 5.4 and all my links are imported plus 2 just added.

    regards

    Hani

The only thing I can really say is to check the following thread on how to convert 5.4 to a non english language.

    http://www.nicecoder.com/community/s...ead.php?t=3893

I've never done it before, so I have no clue as to how to do it.

There was an arabic translation of 5.4 previously, so there's no reason it wouldn't work.

I dont know about that, but I translated mine, converted my database to UTF-8, but still got page errors when I use mod rewrite, I know it could be great if it runs, but alas.
So I went back to the popular Windows-1256 charset.

IndexU Deluxe has native support for UTF-8, if you really want multi-language support you should take a look at it.

Example under New Sites: Friday, May 02.2008

Where can I translate these to other languages?

in 5.4 some settings that caused this problem could be found in msg.php
Main IndexU sites : | Campsite Directory | Tourist Guide | Places2B | AfterDirectory <-- Half price submission using coupon DP50 (from just $11 premium, and $10 basic permanent )
