Default Custom Fields; can not change nor delete

    Hi
If I change anything in a custom field, proprties are lost, and I can not delete old ones, nor create new ones.
I checked using phpmyadmin, I get a "No index defined!" message, is that normal?

I dropped the table and then recrated it, still the same.

    please help

If you change the properties of a custom field where? If you change a field from text to an image then I'm sure all data would be removed since it is no longer applicable.

After you change the custom field you can't create a new custom field?

I am totally confused by your post. Indexes dont matter.

Also, when you create a custom field data is inserted into three tables in the database, not just one. By dumping one table you are still leaving those fields in the other tables which is probably what is causing your issue.

You SHOULD have removed the fields from within the admin panel. That's why it's there.

When you create a custom field there are rows created in the following tables

    idx_custom_field
    idx_link
    idx_link_temp

But the field still exists as I said above, once you messed with the database via phpmyadmin you messed up IndexU. You need to delete the fields in the tables I mentioned above or you will continue to have issues.
