Creating a Blank Page

I did this once but can't remember how to create a blank page? I want the header, footer and side menus just want the CENTER blank to add whatever I want.

How is this done in v5.4?

Edit your template and click on "Add new custom template"

then call the page by visiting page.php?id=pagename

If the page is named mypage then you would use page.php?id=mypage

Hummmm, sometime I feel so stupid. My domain is E-GUN.COM.
I create a blank page which I call advertising.html, then I did try to reach my new page using: http://www.e-gun.com/page.php?id=advertising.html and of course it did not works. What am I doing wrong?

If the page is named mypage then you would use page.php?id=mypage

So if your page is advertising.html then it would be http://www.e-gun.com/page.php?id=advertising

As a note, this works the same way in 5.x as in deluxe for anyone interested. That's the only reason I replied to this because it's still relavent to current users.
