catagory display customising

im trying to customise the page that displays all the catagoies.

obviouslly a call is made in the index page for <%$catagories%>, but how do i modifiy the look of the displayed content from <%$catagories%>.

I have made some changes to <%$tpl_base%>/settings.php which helped me remove the link count next to each displayed catagory but cant seem to figure out the following.

I want to display the description for each catagory inside the catagory itself (not on the catagory index front page), so im looking for the call and assume the page to modify is browse.html.

It's all done in /lib/category.class.php
