Call to a member function on a non-object...

Hello,

a few days ago i purchased IndexU 5.0.1 and have done a fresh installation on my server but get the above error message on some pages:

1) Categories - View/Edit/Delete

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/tbitxdbz/admin/cat_view.php on line 90

2) When trying to edit a specified Link:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/tbitxdbz/lib/link.class.php on line 1936

3) When clicking on Details for a specified Link:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/tbitxdbz/detail.php on line 129

I have checked the category structure and updated the category path but nothing helped.

Does anyone know how to solve this problems?

I'm not what's wrong. In most case the database table could be incomplete / corrupt. Please send us email at support@nicecoder.com with your ftp and admin password. We need to look inside your server.

Hi Tom,

I had a similar problem with a fresh install of v5. I unfortunately pointed it to an "old" v3.2 db file. Once I created a new and "empty" db file, re-ran the install/install.php and during installation chose the new db file these errors went away.
