I need a list of changes in the scripts from the older versions to the new. I cant simply upgrade and I must manually edit the files

well, according to the way I read in dody's post, the support you seek may not be part of the support offered by dody. Support is provided for "installation, templating, and consultation."

He does seem to anwser installation and templating questions (I'm still not sure what templating is). Any other support is anyone's guess. But keep "yelling" at him , and maybe he will answer you.

as for a "list of changes" some programmers keep detailed information and some keep more of a summary of changes.

Well ive gone through most of the scripts but a detailed list of changes would be nice considering the amount of code to go through in the classes. Upgrading is not an option. I dont even know if what I use is considered indexu anymore since ive changed almost everything in the script.

I uploaded those new scripts like invoice files in admin and just linked them to the new application file so basically running the new stuff off the new files and keeping my old work as it is.

Why dotn you jsut login to the svn developer server (details in nicecoder control panel) and you can see last modified dates if i remember correctly.

The point is this is a majour change, and all the majour files (applciation.php, user.class etc misc.lib ) have been rewritten. Your going to get help if you tell people what exactly you want to move over to your version... If you want everythign then you have no choice but to install version5, and add mods for the version 3.2 code base into your new installation. (IMHO)

Inspireme , i have seen no major changes in the scripts . It is essentially the same thing with exception of the sponsor links and payment systems-invoicing. I have no intention on upgrading the template system in my site so all I need to know is which functions are added and changed.

I spent quite a bit in modifications to the script so really my main concern is whether there is anything necessary in the upgrade in terms of security issues or compatiblity with php upgrades.

player77, please understand that we could not help you upgrading from custom/hacked version. I think the best solution for your case is to hire our programmer to implement the features you want based on your indexu version.
