Adding link to more than one category

Has anyone figured out how to change the code to make this work? I mean so when someone submits their link they can choose up to 3 categories from drop down menus to list their site.

I know you can add a link to different categories but you have to do this one at a time! Too time consuming. If anyone can hep me out I would be grateful!

There's a lot of work to do. First, you should change the database structure, add a new table as relation of link and category, and drop field category_id from link.
You should also change the queries, the template files for links adding.

Unfortunately I would be lost without a full set of step by step instructions Are there plans in the near future to add this to INDEXU? It would be a very nice feature to have.
