    Default adding excel links

just a quick question. in the idx_link table the date field is in the format datetime. how do you add the same format using excel? the only way i can import the correct date is to use date format of the type 0000-00-00. if i use custom option in excel in the format dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm then quite rightly, it dosen't import. if i add link via admin panel then it adds datetime correctly. is there a way to add link with correct date & time via excel? manyn thanks.
I know more today than i did yesterday...
