Good place to start promoting your directory

As my experience with my web directory (indexu.net), i'd like to share my favorite places to start promoting new directory.

DigitalPoint Forum

directorycritic.com

AddUrl.nu

Those websites are top 3 referrer to my directory, currently I get about 100 submissions and 150 unique visitors / day.

I also recommend to do manual submit to as many as directories. Submit to directories listed at AddUrl.nu. It's a great help because the website offer a direct submit link to add url page. To help filling the form, I prefer to use roboform.

Submitting your story to socialbookmark site such as digg.com and del.icio.us will help you to get indexed very fast, usually in 2 days.
