Default Directory Submitter

Has anyone ever gotten their site listed with a Directory Submitter program ( like IBP, etc. ) or with a Manual Submission Service??? How exactly did you go about it? Is there pros or cons in doing this?

Any and all feedback / suggestions are welcomed

Thanks for the suggestion Inspireme, but I was referring to having your own directory listed in a program like IBP or Submit Eaze for that matter... So that others using their programs would submit to your directory

i wont do it if i was you.

you better try to contact some directory submission services.
and make a good deal with them.

like free submissions are ok, but no crap or mfa sites.

and if you submit a paid listing you can give them a coupon

so they get it cheaper.

i am still thinking of a good way to beat it.

but i will keep you all posted onces i have a solution.

Yeah... Thats mostly what I was thinking too Bruce and Piet... I was thinking that maybe some of the higher end Directory Software like IBP would be better to try and get into. These usually aren't software that the crap site owners buy and use.

I definiately dont want to sacrafice quality for quantity... I'd rather have 5000 quality, family friendly sites, then 1,000,000 payday loan sites I'm just try to figure new ways of spreading the word

If you want quantity, then talk to every link submitting program out there. If you want quality then talk to companies whose programs run in the $100+ range and updates are paid for by users. Those should be companies that give a darn (like Trellian's Submitwolf and Internet Business Promoter aka IBP).

Another thing you can do, when you find a program you want to submit your URL to, go ahead and search for cracks and serial numbers for that program. If they are easily available then you don't want to touch the program because you know every loser is going to have a copy and spam every crappy website of theirs to your site.

Visit addurl.nu, they have direct link to submit page.
To automate filling the form, use roboform, even the free version will work well.

Thanks Dody... Thats what I currently do / use... RoboForm is GREAT!!

I was talking about how to get more incoming hits to my sites along with submissions. Its doing well now, but I want to see it do even better...

I've put specials up on Digital Point Forum, I've been included in Directory Critic ( Featured Listing ), and I'm also in AddURL.nu. Like I said, its doing well, but I want it to do even better
