Several new mods available now

Hello Everyone

I have been working on several new mods for the last month or more. I was going to post each one seperately, but I don't want to spam the forum all at once with my announcements. Here they are:

Banned Mod
This mod allows directory owners to ban users from registering, adding links, or accessing the website based on IP Address, Email Address. or Domain. Here are a few features:


Ban users and optionally redirect users from your entire website based on their IP Address.

Ban user registration, link submissions/modifications, or both based on the users IP Address.

Ban user registration, link submissions/modifications based on the users email address.

Ban link submissions/modifications based on the domain name submitted (works with subdomains and you can use wildcards for wide range banning).

Fully integrated into the IndexU admin panel.

Tested using IndexU Version 5.4.0.

FREE upgrades for future versions of IndexU

This mod will take the average user approximately 30-45 minutes to install and does require editing of the core php files included with IndexU.

Support for this mod is available in our user forums.

Record IP
This mod records the IP Address of the individual who is submitting the link. It stores the IP address in the database and displays it to the IndexU admin. It also records the IP address when a link is modified and if the modification is approved, it overwrites the original submitters IP with the new one. Also stores the IP address of users when they register. Here are a few features:


Stores the users IP address in the database when they submit a listing.

Stores the users IP address in the database when they modify a listing.

Stores the users IP address in the database when they register for your site.

Stores the users IP address in the database when they confirm their registration through their email.

Stores seperate IP addresses for the user when they register and confirm registration (usefull if they used a web bot to register).

All IP addresses are viewable in the admin panel.

Tested using IndexU Version 5.4.0.

Rules Mod
This mod requires users to agree to your terms prior to submitting their links. Here is how it works. When a user clicks on "Add A Listing", they are redirected to your terms page. They must click "Accept at the bottom of the page before proceeding. Once they click "Accept", they are redirected to your "Add A Listing form to submit their link. Here are a few features:


You can turn this feature on-off via the admin area.

You can edit the terms page to fit your specific site's terms.

Tested using IndexU Version 5.4.0.

After a few people contacted me about getting a discount on my original prices for these mods, I have decided I should make the mods more affordable, thus allowing more people to use them. I have now drastically cut the prices. I spent many hours, days, and weeks working on these mods in coding, testing, and documenting the installation process. I feel that any one of them is a steal at these prices. Instead of editing my original post, I will list the new prices below.
