Default Premium and Sponsored...how do they look?

    Hi everyone,
    I'm new.

I have no premium and sponsored listings yet. Will these automatically appear in certain places in my directory and on the homepage once people pay for them?......and are there pages somewhere in the script to tell my visitors what they can expect in return for their money by purchasing these listing or is it all something I have to set up myself?
Thanks for your patience. I know I'm asking a lot of questions but I started this directory a few days ago and don't have any users guide. If there is a link to one somewhere, I'd appreciate being informed of it.
    Best regards,
    Michel

A sponsored and premium listing will always be on the top of a category, searchresults, etcetera. A sponsored listing is always above the premium listings. In a displayed listing it will tell if it's basic, sponsored or premium.

You can also setup the script to make more differences, like listings in additional categories for premium and sponsored listings, allowing more keywords for sponsored and premium listings than for basic listings, etcetera.

There are no pages to tell the difference, you could implement a text in the add-page or create a seperate page to give detailed information.

Thanks for the information Jurgen. You have the same name as my German brother-in-law...

Too bad there isn't a way in the admin to add listings and make them a sponsored or premium listing...or to edit existing listings and make them sponsored or premium, because I could then put at least one sponsored and one premium listing in each category to make it look like my directory is selling these listings....

Bummer! Guess I'll have to suggest it for future indexU versions maybe.
    Danke,

Of course you can add listings and make them sponsored or premium.

Add the link, then go to Admin panel - Links - Search/Edit/Delete and search for the link in question. You will be taken to a page called "Search Result". On that page you will see a checkbox, a pencil and a picture of a page with a gear on it. Click on the gear icon and you will be taken to a page now called "Upgrade/Downgrade Listing"

You can now change your link from regular to premium or sponsored.
