    Question Is multiple rating options possible?

    Currently, the script allows users to rate a site from 1-5.
    Is it possible to have 1 overall rating (score) supported by 5 more detailed rating options ie.

    Overall Rating: 4.3

    Price: 4.7
    Service: 3.9
    Quality: 4.0
    Support: 4.4
    Satisfaction: 4.3

    (Would be good if the overall score was an average of the other 5)

    Is it possible? Yes. Can IndexU do it? Not currently.

    But it's a good idea for a new plugin.

    For someone who knows what they're doing, do you think it'll take more than 20 hours? To outsource, would it be less than $100 to get it done? Thanks for your quick responses Bruceper.

    Bruce added it to the project tools area for discussion on whether it will be developed into a plugin. You can see it at multiple ratings - NiceCoder Community Forums - Projects.

    The #1 reason I bought IndexU was to create a site for ratings using that exact type of system. I had a mod almost finished for 5.4, but was sidetracked with other stuff. It can be done using IndexU, the question is will they make the plugin.

    WILL we make it as a plugin? I think so. But I can't guarantee anything. If we do it when would it be released? No idea.

    It would be nice to have, but keep checking the projects board and we'll see what happens.

    It shouldn't take anywhere near 20 hours to create a plugin like this for someone who is an expert at programming. I would think 2 - 3 hours is more realilistic.

    You might be able to post it at eLance and see what kind of bids you get for it.
