Default Moving category image from index.html to browse.html

I can do this by modifying the header for new categories, but after adding in the Wordpress mod this morning and wanting to add a link to my top menu, I realized that every time I decide to modify the header, I would have to change each and every category pages header...ugh. I'm sure there's a way to do this, but it's over my head, I'm afraid. I just want to make the category image appear on the category page instead of the index page so that I can just enter the image name when I add a new category and it will show up. Here's an example page:

Can anyone help me with that? I could even pay a small fee, but since I'm just getting started, my funds are limited.

Thanks for any help!

I'm not sure why you would need to modify the header on each and every category page. The category pages just calls header.html. Whatever change you made there would then show on each and every page.

My paid listings actually get a category, not just a link. On their category page, they can list several links of theirs and I am giving premium listers a "custom header" like this:

http://www.digiscrapdirectory.com/de...resa-hernandez

The easiest thing for me would be if the image that is entered when a category is set up could appear in that spot instead of on the homepage. That's what I'm trying to get done, but I'm not even sure it's "doable". If not, I have to do a custom header for EVERY category. I have at least simplified it by making the top menu an includes so if I change it, I don't have to change every category, but the best way would be to make the titles work (separate problem posted in another forum, but I don't seem to be able to figure out how to solve that one) and make the category image appear in the banner spot on the category pages. One more little thing is, if they are not a premium subscriber, they don't get the custom banner so then it would need to show the default.

Does that make sense?

Paid listings get a category? Sorry but to me that sounds a little too much like work because it can't be automated by IndexU (by default).

You're already doing it manually by creating the category when they sign up, why not go 1 step further and copy/paste the custom header and just change the text that needs to be changed.

That would solve your issues.

If you want premium users to be able to have more than one link then install the deeplinks mod and enable the display of deeplinks only for premium links. That would do the same as what you're talking about, but keep the automation and simplicity.

Yes, it will be alot of work, but I believe in order to have people pay for the service I'm offering, that's what I need to do (our industry is a strange one to be sure).

I am actually doing it that way now and have made the menu at the top an includes so that I won't have to go back and change them all if I decide to add a link up there. I just thought it would be easier if I could just put in the image name in the image name space and move on rather than having to copy and paste and edit a custom header every time.

Deep links wouldn't do the one thing I really need and that is offer the page listing (category page, basically) with the custom header. We're very visual and the ability to have a graphic on a page with all of their links on it is the best part of the service I am offering to my potential market.
