Currently on IndexU you are able to differentiate a Sponsored Link from a Premium or Basic Link only when browsing the categories. However, if someone reaches the details page directly (for example from the Random or New Links pages) there is no way to readily know which type of link it is. I would also put an icon on the Basic and Premium Links details page, to encourage link owners to upgrade their listing.

What do you guys think?

This has sort of been discussed before, but not directly. You can allow sponsored or premium listings to have "better" things in their details pages such as maps, logo's, images etc. You're right no one has ever spoken about saying a link is sponsored or premium, but I don't know if it really matters.

On my sites, the majority of visitors are coming directly to the index, then a large percentage are hitting the categories, and only a very small percentage are hitting pages directly.
