 link site with (zip code search - 50 mile radius?)
Does anyone have a directory with a search box where a visitor can type in a usa zip code any listings within 50 miles show up?

This post does not belong in "Sites In Action", it has nothing to do with that forum. There is no working geocoder addong for IndexU that I can remember. A previous member was working on one but he has stopped development. There are plans to release a geocoder plugin in the future.

I was trying to find a site in action with this feature. Are you going to start building this feature or is it in the works, if so when could we expect a release? |

As I stated above, there are plans to release a geocoder plugin in the future. When can you expect a release? There is no date, as I stated it is planned which means it hasn't even been started yet.

If I said sold would it have to be private just for you? It is a serious question, because we do plan on doing it, but incentive might just get it done faster.

I wanted it to be private but I wouldn't mine selling it as an add-on and if we could both make money by doing that I have no problem fronting the $1,000 to make it happen now. We would need it to work in the USA of course and it would be nice to make it search by say 10, 25 or 50 Mile Radius... (User Drop Down) I'm sure there are other details we need to review but over all pretty simple... |

A simple raduis search for indexu would be very cool, I have waiting for the for a long time. Is there any chance this could be put up on the priorites list? It doesnt have to be a fully blown geolocator just a radius search in miles from the given zipcode or postcode. I would pay for this as a premium plugin for sure.
