Customizing pages

Hi, all. I downloaded the Lite version last night and I think it will do what I want to, but I want to heavily modify the pages. I only want a header, a banner spot or two and the page content. No other blocks (I think they're called). I also don't want the verify, review and other buttons...basically, I just want the links, meta info and that's it. Can I do this if I buy a commercial version?

Yes they are called blocks.

You should be able to do that in the free version as well. Just edit the theme files. You can do that in the admin panel if you set the proper file permissions.
