create a category in the menu but link to another category?

I'd like to make a new category and when you click on it, it actually forwards to another category. Is this possible?

It's not possible within IndexU, but you could do this in .htaccess

redirect /public_html/host/directory/name/ http://www.yoururl/new/directory/

Does this affect search engines? Making it NOT index the page?

how would I get the category to be in the list with the other categories except when clicked forward to the one I want it to? I understand making a change in the .htaccess file just not sure how you get the "forwarding category" in the list with other categories.

perhaps someone can make a mod in the admin panel so when you add a new category you could have the option to forward to a url??? I'd pay $ for this mod.
