collecting emails from visitors

We need a mod to help collect email addresses, anyone have something in place that works, or ideas?

The mailing list exists to do this, what further function did you want to do?

Something EXCITING, something that makes people want to enter there email. I know there is a mailling list feature, we need to improve the way it collects emails or the exposure of this feature on the site, having it in additional places.

I'd like to offer them a chance to win something, so how do we get this plugin to stand out more? I have my own program to send emails so I need to be able to pull these emails off the database somehow, is there a way to do that thru admin?

You can pull the email addresses out via the admin panel (Database - Export - Mailing List) or via phpmyadmin.

You can reword the mailing list block to act as a giveaway registration form. But in doing that I would ensure you have a link to your privacy policy and giveaway rules and regulations.

you can make a plugin or a script to load email data from mailing-list, then view it on admin panel or download it as file.
