    Default amember indexu integration

The folks who created the amember script left me a response recently that says they'll look into the issue by the end of the week.

So they did respond, but their speed at responding is lacking. Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful that they're looking into this, but I'm only running on a demo and I only have so long until it expires.

The amember crew have informed me that they have provided an updated indexu plugin and an extended trial period (good stuff!). Hopefully this afternoon I will have time to check it out and let everyone know how it works out.

I will also try to write a guide as to how to make amember work with indexu.

The amember integration now works. There is one minor issue to repair which is the fact that when logged in via amamber, indexu produces an error saying a session is already open.

I made a quick workaround for that error, but that results in the user having to log in twice to submit a link if the option "only permit registered users to submit links" is enabled.

I've contacted them back and we'll need to wait see what comes up next. I'll keep you updated.

Plus I'm going to strip a number of my posts out and start a new thread on this so users can follow along with the progress.

Thanks for all the useful info on this topic Bruce, I'm sure a lot of people are following your progress, and find it very interesting.
How would you rate "amember" for newbies, with little or no experience in coding?.. is it fairly easy to use combined with IndexU? or quite complex..

Thanks again for EVERYTHING you do on this forum.

I would rate it as difficult in order to integrate multiple products.
