does anyone know how i can replace yahoo news with googles news or maybe even use some from each. Tahnk you in advance

Just replace the URL for the feed.

You'll find the feed URL's in footer.html or index.html

but that is what i thought and i did that it was actually in the index.html and it does nothing which is pretty strange

This is what was their http://rss.news.yahoo.com/rss/entertainment
so i really think i am replacing the right thing but nothing happens not even an error on the page?

clear the cached files in indexu and possibly in your browser as well.

Try removing the files in the /template_c folder... Thats what I have to do after making changes to see them

Whats the difference between /template_c and /cache???

I guess I forgot about the /cache/ folder, and when I've been telling people to clear the cache I'll need to be more specific.

Anyways, the cache folder seems to hold the cache for the rss feeds, while templates_c holds the cached files that indexu creates to reduce database activity which reduces the resources used by the script on the server.
