What are these errors

I am re-learning IndexU v 3.2 - I added a category 2 - test. when I view the page I get these warnings above the header. Anyone know what these mean? I did a fresh install today at:

When you click on:

test2 (0)
test2

which results in the following URL:

http://www.notesnstrings.com/links/b...test2-2-1.html

I get the following lines above my header:

Did I miss any old files, permissions etc. that could cause them?

you need to chmod 777 folder 'counter'

I have purchased multiple copies in the past. But your client area will not accept my email address. Old email addresses don't work either! What gives? I am a valid user and can't figure out why your system doesn't recognize me.

I did this 2 days ago - and also 3 months ago. My "ticket" is 439BF955. I initially purchased the indexu back in 2002, but have not been able to find the original receipt - and due to my hard drive crash lost my digital copies of all indexu receipts. I do appreciate your help. Thanks!

Hi Dody,
I fear you sent it to my OLD email address karen.day@secahec.org - which is no longer in use. Can you PLEASE email it to my correct email address (which I gave support) which is karen@simplebydesign.com. THANKS!

Please note in the future I will only use 1 email address to collect my licenses, and will most definitely create backup hard copies and backups of my backups for digital files.
