Urgent Help Needed!

I have updated from 3.2 to 5.4 version, then performed all the needed tasks like link counting, category path updation, etc. Now if MOD_REWRITE is ON or OFF, in both ways I receive this error when trying to go to a category:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/ushome26/public_html/lib/db.class.php on line 120


Please advise.

Is there any more to the error message than that?

It's possible the database wasn't updated properly during the upgrade.
