Default Thumbnail for each indexu link

I am starting a service to do screenshot of indexu links.
The point is to provide customers with thumbnail images of the website beside the links just like what alexa did ( http://www.alexa.com/browse/general?...0&mode=general). But ours is going to be better because when they click on the thumbnail they can see the full size screenshot.
Please PM me if you are interested. I will notify

you can also goto hotscripts.com and get free scripts to do it for you, you just have to intergreat them into indexu.

There is no script to do it as far as I know.

Please post any link to the script if you found one.
I spent one whole night searching all over the net.

i mean you added one thumbnail at a time right... well what about if you have a couple of hundred links... wouldnt that take forever to add a snapshot of every link?

No, the link image corresponds to the ID. So it is dynamically displayed. Item ID 1 will be 1.jpg

NO one in their right mind will ever attempt manual screenshot and HTML editing for that.

well first you dont need to edit any html.

you would edit your link.class.php to show the image with the link.

yahoo has a way to automatily take screen shots of there links.

i know perl can do it.

    Perl can do that?
    Can you post a link?

And I knew ASP can do it too.
Ever got spams with the screenshot of your site?
I got these and they were promoting site promotion.
The screenshots using these scripts and not accurate as they are not capable of capturing Flash. It will be just ONE BIG WHITE space.

I was impressed too. But my site was flash based at that time and they missed out the big chunk of flash.....
