Sponsored links question.
Hi again,
I just noticed that when I set a link as a sponsored link they remain on the top of the page even after a visitor clicks to go to the next page in the category.
Result Pages: 1 2 3 4 5 6 Next >>
So my question is thisyes there is one heh heh.
What happens if you have 10 sponsored pages and the system displays 10 links per page. Will the visitor NEVER see the new links on the other pages ?
Or is this a bug in my instalation ?

actually, the sponsored (featured) links are displayed separately from the regular links so you won't have that problem.
In the browse.html notice the tags for <%featured_link%> and for <%link%>. Thus, when you view the page, it just "looks like" they are together.

Esm,
Unless I am totaly missing something this is not what happens on my system. But then again I think my system is haunted.
Check out this link which has a sponsored link at the top and then click on the next page and you will see what I mean .

well, i think i can assure you that it is not haunted!
when i go to the link you gave me, i see one sponsored link ( the same on both pages ) and 25 listings on the first page and the remaining 5 on the next page - thus, all 31 link.
so what setting are you using?

yes that is correct the link as far as I know should only remain on the first page and NOT on the second one. Why is it showing up on both as it is THE same link ?
I have no idea where this setting is comiong from and want to change it so the sponsored link only stay at the top of the first page only

according to the code in browse.php, comment out the following line
