Modify Page - Timeout/blank

Ive recently set up my laptop to act as a server to allow for quicker testing of changes to my site, what im finding is that on my hosted server (the live site) the modify page works fine..... but on my laptop... it times out....

Im wondering what php variables i need to have enabled,

the page is loading correctly with my header but then the rest of the page is coming up as blank and without any error messages.

any ideas?

Not sure why, but we no longer support 3.x version.

thanks dody... I just thought someone might have come into the same problem...

Ive used http://www.server2go-web.de/ to install the server....

any help from anyone would be awesome....
