Latest Results 3 Horiztontal

How do i show latest results horizontally. I want 3 across that will be images 150 x 150px with the title below. I would like them to be evenly spaced, then have another row of 3, etc, totalling 9 for latest entry results on the home page.

If you talk about latest and updates in 3.2 it should be possible in msg.php
Try to add colums around the link style.
