Default INDEXU v3.2E ENHANCED - update

Now this is interesting! take a look at the ENHANCED description...!
http://www.indexuhelp.com/indexu32e/...ch-150729.html

see the mass emailer in action: login as admin password is garden
login at the front page http://www.indexuhelp.com/indexu32e
and then go here http://www.indexuhelp.com/indexu32e/admin to access the admin page
if you don't follow these instructions, you will not be able to access the admin page ( I told you so...! )

And you can play around with the links in unlimited multiple categories here:
http://www.indexuhelp.com/indexu32e/add_mcats.php
( you will need to know a link id and which category it is in; and remember which categories you add it to. )

Hello,

It does look very nice but (there is always a but)
- You have a dead link in admin: phpinfo()
- In detail page the category is not display
- In detail page I think that next and previous should display links in the same category
- login.php does not work properly (I did remove the login window from index, I think it takes to much space, I also remove; mailing list, tell a friend. User access this feature with a link)
- No space for Google ad sense
- The open window is too large, 780 should be the maximum, user do not like to scroll left and right.
- I did notice some inconcistency in the number of link (show 5 but category is empty)
- Why is the "sort" in browse, will sort influence the display of "sponsor" link

All that are just detail very easy to fix. Concidering how many links you have your site is very fast, I realy like the announcement window and most of the feature you did add, I still would like user to be able to access a page where the review sites are listed (and maybe sort), I also like to be able to display the last X review on index.
When will you Enhance version be available to Indexu users? How much will we pay for it?
BTW I have an important question. Of course most of my pages are listed in search engine, how can I redirect user from the listed pages to the new pages? Is there an easy way to do it? Did you create multiple cache directory?

Code:
Content visible to License Owner only.
I disabled that and a few other features in the admin section to allow other folks access to the admin section.

Code:
Content visible to License Owner only.
These may be related. I designed the next/previous to show only links from the same category. Must be a bug...

Code:
Content visible to License Owner only.
yep, I am not sure why it does not work. I did look at the HTML page and all looked OK. I just haven't had time to look further.

Code:
Content visible to License Owner only.
These really fall under what I call user options. Anyone who is serious about their site, will make significant changes to all the HTML pages (that would include just about every file in the /themes/default folder ). My objective is to provide a working example that they can follow if they so desire. Having said that, I may create one that moves much of that stuff to a linked page or remove it all together.

Just a note. dody's index page has a header and footer and in between the two, he simulates a two column layout. It is not what I consider a true two/three column layout. I define a 3 column layout as a header with a left side (which is actually optional on my page) followed my the content in the middle and then a right side and then the footer. In my layout, the left side is part of the header but still displays INDEXU info. And my right side can also display INDEXU info followed my the footer.

Could the GOOGLE ad sense not go on either the left or right side???

Code:
Content visible to License Owner only.
That is because I added several links to a number of different categories and then ran the update number of categories routine (it took a couple of hours...!). everything was fine at least for the few I checked. Then I had to delete the links database. So the numbers are now messed up. When I get another 2 free hours, I will update them again.

Code:
Content visible to License Owner only.
Are you referring to the SORT BY mod at the top of the browse page??

Once again, anything in the HTML pages is user-controlled. I haven't done much with the sponsored links but I may try to play around with it. I have looked at the browse page (and the browse page php code) and I have some serious questions about that area.

If you have any thoughts on this, please let me know.

Code:
Content visible to License Owner only.
And I haven't even enabled the dynamic static page feature for v3.2 which I think I have I have improved quite a bit in v3.2E

Code:
Content visible to License Owner only.
not sure what you mean by this.

Code:
Content visible to License Owner only.
I believe that has already been done. On the left side of the index page...?

Code:
Content visible to License Owner only.
I need to add the BANNER mod and then test it. Maybe in a week.
maybe we could swap out you testing it and getting a free copy in the process for some of those links you have for sale. I'd love for you to test it.

Code:
Content visible to License Owner only.
I haven't set a final price yet.

Code:
Content visible to License Owner only.
use the MOD_REWRITE feature of Apache????

Code:
Content visible to License Owner only.
yep. sortof. I have several different cache directories. I've thought of creating one for each category but that maybe too many.

Yes I am refering to that feature, I think the "Link Sponsor" should always remain on the top, that is why user are paying for it.

- There are serveral page like "new links". "Pick", etc. I think we could have "Reviews", all the reviews will be available for viewing.
- Last X reviews is not in index
- Sure I am willing to trade, how many do you want (with or with out email?) What is the focus of your directory?

Code:
Content visible to License Owner only.
I did not understand that browse.php?cat=xxxxxx still exist

- About MODE_REWRITE. Since it does not use session are the stats still accurate as for "Users on line", I thought that Indexu was counting the number of session to determine the number of users.

Code:
Content visible to License Owner only.
I think that one cache per top category is enough

About template: I did find more convenient to create 3 self contain tables header, body, footer. You can change the layout and content of each tables indendently without having to modify the others.

Default 3.2e

Your mod links to multipli cats looks nice
You only show the first category in category path or still up to three which will be entered at the first time of adding the link ?

When can we start testing, if you feel lucky I buy it directly

If possible write all titles in the urls in small letters - believe me it is better
And ad a way to transform special letters of other languages to show them in the url.

Ok, and if you ask me, whats about last and often searched words with the same options (static, special letters...)

A box which can be included which shows "staic" links to the last and often search results like in admin menu.

very fast indexing by G., because the links changing every time by visitors.
Also you create millions of different pages which are automatic optimized to the searched keywords.

Never I had better results as with this mods..
