I'm working with vbulletin hack first. Perhaps phpbb is next.

Where is the vbulletin hack? I was fixing to pay someone to do it for me.

Not yet finished. I got problem with vb session. My idea is creating new file for registration, login/logout, lost password. And point link to these file rather than indexu/vb files. But it's not as easy as I though before.

Do you think it can be done? Vb and Indexu working together would be incredible

I think so. There's no such impossible. It's only a matter how hard is it
Btw, this is not full integration. Still both having it's own control panel. But the main issue is sharing users database and maintain session data. One login form, one logout, one lost password retrieval.

Exactly, thats what I meant. All that needs to work is 1 login, logout, etc for all features of both programs.

I am really excited about this. I may have to buy vbulletin if you do this. Are you currently working on this? Will it be done soon?

Yes, I'm working on it. There's no time estimated because I need to learn vb code too. That is require time, and a lot of questions in their forum

    ai,

    why vb ?

I think it costs a lot of money, too !

phpbb is also great and there are existing a lot of hacks and mods and they develop it for free !!!

By the way, this could be a nice feature:

Count and give member points for rate, review and suggest links !!!!

If it's going to be integrated with VB2 or better VB3 I will buy INDEXU.

I'm about to buy in-link because they have a vbulletin integration hack already, but it seems they slowed down the development…so I'm waiting…

    Keep up the good work!

    Question vb

    ai,

hm, did I miss something ?
If I remember right vb costs a lot of money each year, yes ?
Why is it much better then the free phpbb ?

By the way some words to in-link
I think you will have problems with such integrations in next versions, because they are working for in-portal (the last and I think the next 2 years ) and then they will sell their own forum.

I was looking for in-link like you, but very important for my is a good user community and since Dody is back, this community is very good !

    Greetings
    Frank

Vbulletin is not that expensive. Id much rather have the hack for vbulletin than phpbb. I barely know of any sites that even use phpbb
