Hello,

On my directory I have many chinese spam add by robots
I would like to add a CAPTCHA code in the submission page.
What is a CAPTCHA ? watch this page : CAPTCHA definition in Wikipedia

Have you some solution for me ?

ummm i think esm did something like this using a random number, its posted somewhere on the forums if you do a search (although dont search for CAPTCHA) its fairly recent so type in robots or something and see what you find - I belive somebody else had the same problem.

You will find loads of places that will give you the code to generate the number ( i have done it before) it requires you to have hosting that supports GD2.0 or IMAGEMAGIK to warp and produce the image box...

Your best bet is start with what esm did and see if that helps, then worry about doing it with images if you still have a problem.

let us know if it works for you. the real stuff adds it to an image but as I understand it, even that is not 100% effective.

too bad this won't make it to v3.3 ( along with a bunch of others ). But you'll have an invoice system!

Since the installation of the code (08/12) not a spam !
