Up until now, if you were not able to take advantage of the htaccess mod_rewrite feature, you were pretty much stuck with the standard PHP query string ( http://www.indexuhelp.com/indexu32e/browse.php?id=353 ) which I am told is not very search-engine friendly.
Well, now you have an alternative. see the category listings at http://www.indexuhelp.com/indexu32e/browse.php/cat/353.html. As you mouseover the category hyperlinks you will see SE friendly URLs. ( I still need to finish some of the URLs, Frank, so don't get excited )
And switching between the three options can be done globally or on a page-by-page basis ( browse page vs index pages vs detail page, etc ). Less than minute from start-to-finish....!
And all this from the IF-THEN-ELSE feature of the new template parsing system ( see http://www.nicecoder.com/community/showthread.php?t=2363 ).
Like I said, this is a powerful feature and as a webmaster, you are going to love it. ( And unlike Smarty templates, which take a college degree in computers to even begin to understand, v3.2
E templates can be learned in a matter of minutes ).
