problems to index meta tags in search sites

I'm having problems to index tags in google and other websites
how can I fix it?

the search index such as google and etc doesn't recognize my tags

What do you mean doesn't recognize your tags?

Place the meta tags in header.html If you post the tags you're having problems with then someone could probably help you further.

I believe that Google only does a refresh every 30 days or so.

Also, did you submit your site to the search engines?
