Passing $custom_field to the header

I seem to have a problem passing a $custom_field to the header. It seems to work fine with v5.2 but giving me problems with v5.3. Could someone test this problem for me?

are you tryign to get it into the detail page? its a littl emore tricky and you ahve to play with detail.php a little.... not major, i will post instructions if thats what your after.

The reason it didn't work was because it was a mod you had previously showed me -

The $custom_field is empty because it's loaded in detail_link.html instead of detail.html, so you can not pass them to header.html.

As inspireme said, you need to play with detail.php
