Max number of links in some pages

We find in setting.php the following lines :

$max_rows = 4; // maximum links/page in browse page
$rev_max_rows = 5; // maximum reviews/page in detail page
$search_max_rows = 4; // maximum link/page in search page
$user_max_rows = 50; // maximum user/page in member search page

But where can we modify the max number of links in the "Other links in this category" of the detail.html page ?

Where is the parameter for the max number of links in the "New and updated links" block ?

I modified these parameters a day, but I can't find them again.

It could be more convenient to put all these parameters (max number of links for pages and blocks) at the same place (for example, in the setting.php file).
