Mailing list error

I am having problems with mailing list subscriber confirming subscription need clicking email to confirm. I get the follow page:

Confirmation error. Your confirmation code is invalid, we can't find your code in our database.

I first try a yahoo email and that worked, but I tried my AOL email and it didn't work, I got the confirmation error page!
