Bug ??

Hello,

I have an IndexU directory since 1 year, for the first time there's someone who changed hislisting without editor's approval, i don't know how it's possible.

I received automatic email saying "The category permission allow webmaster to add/modify link without approval.

The link has beed modified."

I see that there is no permission without editor's approval in the setup of the directory.

Any idea ?

5.4.0, it's the latest version i think.

The security patch provided by Nicecoder has not been installed, it never worked.

What security patch? IndexU 5.4 doesn't have any security issues.

If you're talking about the SVN patch for fixing category permissions that is neither security related nor would I call it a patch. It's simply an update of the code that is optional.

And if your issue revolves around that code, then you should update it because it will fix your issue. Otherwise run a find/replace and change all category permissions that are set at 0 to 1

It's a file i have download from client area called security_fix_5_0_1.zip

I don't remember details but it was a problem during installation of this file, is this file really important to install ?

That's for version 5.01, which is why it's named that way.

ok! that's why it don't work for 5.4. so i can delete this file, thanks !
