Default Wanted - OLD laptop

I'm looking for an OLD laptop, if anyone has one they want to get rid of real cheap (I take donations too!) then perhaps we can make a deal.

At a minimum, here are my requirements

1) It has to work
2) It needs to have a CD-Rom

Other than that I'm not real picky.

What do I want it for? I want to run windows 3.x and Dos on it and perhaps multiboot with win95 and for kicks I might even try throwing OS2 Warp 4 on there (for it's time it was a very very nice looking OS). But to be even geekier did you know that OS2 could run most windows 16bit apps natively?

So perhaps something in the low pentium range like a p133 and if win95 was going to be on it then I suppose it would need 64-128mb of ram.

Please let me know if you happen to have one.

I used to love os2 warp to, its a shame the project went pear shaped between MS and IBM , this was supposed to be the 32 bit platform before the pullout.
Personally NT did us all a favour , and i have a huge soft spot for NT4,

Out of curiossity why are you doing this?

might as well through BEOS in to the mix as well

Why am I doing it? I suppose my answer can only be "why not?" I have tons of old apps and games still on disk and they're fun to play with.

As for OS/2 there is a movement to make it open source (minus the microsoft stuff in it) so there could be a competing, and free, alternative to windows.

Isn't there already a 'free' alternative to windows?? Linux???

yes, but it's not the same and we all know it. I'm speaking of an OS that out of the box operates and functions just like windows and can run windows apps natively.
