iDesk translations do not need to be done in UTF-8 as far as I know.

I think that making promissory note in UTF-8 has sense.
Take I ask under attention language German ,Polish,Bulgarian,Russian and different strange atypical letters .UTF -8 was to universal Buttttttttt he is in UTF -8

the lines:156;161;166 I changed the phrase day on {$lang.day}
the lines: 174 I changed the phrase notify user on {$lang.notify_user}
then in a file from a directory ...\idesk\lang\english.php I added two lines of code:

Modification allows day and notify user translate phrases into another language.

months of calendar names are supposed to be shown automatically if the server has the selected language locale installed otherwise it will be shown in english by default.
