    Question How to stop spams?

    Hello,

    I upgraded idesk to latest version but I am still getting lot of spams I am getting more than 40+ messages via idesk similar to following:

    Spam is an issue for everyone, so you are not alone.

    The best thing you could do would be to enable a program like spamassassin on your hosting account to filter out the most obvious spam.

    For the next version of iDesk we are going to work on improving the spam detection system.

    Default Block Spam

    You can also put the spammer email or IP address to the list of banned emails or IPs on iDesk. That way iDesk can block the person when he/she try to submit another spam ticket using the same email or IP address. Please download iDesk 1.6.2 for better detection on blocked email and IPs.
