ADODB error

i tried to install it by myself, on localhost first only then upload the source on my webserver.
after the iDesk.exe has finnished, the install page gave this error:

Fatal error: Class ADODB_Iterator contains 1 abstract method and must therefore be declared abstract or implement the remaining methods (Iterator::valid) in [...] idesk\lib\3rd\adodb\adodb-iterator.inc.php on line 46

also, the exe for installing php scripts is not that commom (especially since many people don't use windows operating system) while the manual i downloaded did not have the pdf extension (i had to put it myself)

changing the php to version 4 obviously did the trick...but that's not satisfactory
now i have problem with the licence. I took the key from the my account on your website, but when trying to login to admin section it just redirect to your site with an error saying i have a bad licence.
