    Default Is PR Loader dead?

Pr Loader no longer works on my site and the demo looks like it is broken as well. Is PR Loader working for anyone?

    INDEXU is dead

    iDesk is dead

DMOZ Extractor is dead (if it ever was alive)

you cannot say these thigns are dead, hes even released new software in the last month - that doesnt happen without a lot of work going on.

fine he may not communicate with the users, but nicecoder stuff certainly isnt dead.

Actually, I am entitled to my opinion and can say what I want. And although I did say them somewhat tongue-in-cheek (note the THREE smileys), it is my opinion that the Nicecoder product line is more dead than alive.

Maybe your opinion is that the products are vibrantly alive. And you would certainly be entitled to your opinion.

The facts seem to suggest that the Nicecoder product line is currently in trouble. The programmer has recently formalized a practice that has been in place for at least the last year or probably the last two years by posting that he no longer provides forum support for his products. That indeed the only support he provides after purchase is installation support, paid custom work and template support (if you know what that is, I would certainly like to know what it is).

And you are the only forum member providing any kind of support to INDEXU. No one, and I mean NO ONE, provides any support to PR Loader, iDesk or DMOZ Extractor.

And I cannot remember when someone last posted a major MOD for INDEXU or any of the other products for that matter.

And look at the number of posts to the forum and the "active" members on the forum. And if you don't count my posts in the past few month (I have provided almost nothing of substance), there are very few posts relatively speaking and only a handfull of substantive posts. Compare that to the gossamer-threads.com forum.

IMHO, Nicecoder: more dead than alive.

And there are lots of other indicators but even this is just another useless post from me.

in view of the the post by dody concerning the extent of support (installation, templates, paid work), it will be interesting to see what response you will get.

Hm, I know more pages and services which are death or never were really alive...

About the rest, forget all without indexu - PR Loacder is not useful and now also not really needed any more, idesk seems never working well and the dmoz tool never worked as it should.

Well indexu is also as it is a great script with a big big support problem, but it is good and new version may come this year, next year or may be later but it looks also good.

    Regards
    Frank
