Is there any plan for IndexU to add a stat report like this to the script?

Dear Advertiser,

This is your monthly website referrals report from EasyWeddings.

For the month of October you have received:

Visitors from EasyWeddings.com.au: 15
Directory Listing Views: 319
Enquiries: 11

They send this report to each and every advertiser once a month and I think it is a great report, encouraging customers to stay with the directory.

I know that it has been asked before but any plan yet to add it to the later versions any time soon?

I agree... This would be very useful...

Obviously you wouldn't want it for every link owner, but for premium and sponsored listings it would be good. It will show the link owners the value in a Premium or Sponsored listing.

Submit it to the project tools under IndexU and then choose Suggestions. I'm sure it could be done for premium/sponsored listings.

The issue with sending it to all users is that many times a database is imported. And with imported databases there usually is no email address.

This would need to be switchable, meaning that an admin would turn it on/off for each of the three types of listings.

There would also need to be some kind of mechanism where a link owner could unsubscribe from these notices. Otherwise it could be construed as spam.

You could probably just write it into the code, that if there is no e-mail address for the listing, then dont send an e-mail

What could possibly be done is that at the time someone is submitting a link, they can opt-in to the e-mail(s). You could have an unsubscribe in users "My Account" section, and also a link to it in the footer of the e-mail.
