    Default Spider Link CheckUrl

Can some one tell me how the Spider Link & Reciprocal Checker works?

When we use "Spider Link CheckUrl" does it actually check (clicks on it and goes in) the other websites, which are linked to the directory? I mean when they check their stats would they see a hit from the directory to their site?

    Cheers

As far as I know it uses the database of the URLs (page adreses) and using cron job that scripts gop to the each URL and then check the link.
    In Google we trust!

Yes the spider link checkurl visits each and every url listed in the database. Yes the user would see a "hit" from your site, IF the user actually looks for it.
