    Default Selling Mods

I have about 4 mods for IndexU ready and I would like to open a store section where I can accept payments and allow them to download the mod once the payment is accepted. I need a shopping cart or other script that allows payment via PayPal and/or 2Checkout and will give access to the user to the files after payment is accepted. If you sell downloadable files, what script are you using? Can you give me any suggestions?

Has anyone ever used SunShop shopping cart software? Does anyone have a license for SunShop they would be willing to sell or trade? I have an X-Cart license, but I really dislike their products.

Bruce, if you feel this post is inappropriate, please let me know. I hope this is appropriate for this forum.

    Regards

Try looking at CRE Loaded... Basically they have taken OSCommerce and put it on steriods I know they have an add-on that allows for products to be purchased ( via 2CO or Paypal ) and once payment is complete, e-mails them a download link to get the software

This area is fine, but it should really be in website development. Don't worry about it though.

I use a very customized OSCommerce as my main store (and I sell mods too) and I recently setup a custom Zencart for a customer. I dislike x-cart and actually replaced x-cart with the zencart.

Personally I think you'd be better off using oscommerce or zencart simply because of the amount of help available.

Both oscommerce and zencart can take almost any payment system you can throw at it and they can both do downloads after payment.

Zencart is based off oscommerce with a completely different admin area which seems to offer more functionality than oscommerce.

And the last best thing about these carts is they are free.

Thank you both for the help. I am very familiar with osC 2.2 and even made a few contributions a few years back when I opened an online store. I was surprised to see some of the original developers names on the Zen cart site, I guess they too grew tired of the slow progress over at osC. I downloaded and checked out Zen cart and I will probably use it.
