When using the Wordpress or PHPbb plugin, can we have the Wordpress or PHPbb database / website on a different host and the Indexu on a different one, or they have to be both on the same Mysql host?

I was unable to talk to the programmers last night (I was and still am ill) but I believe that they need to be on the same host. I'll do my best to find out tonight providing I don't crash early again.

From what I've been told they need to be on the same host.
