List of Spam words / phrases

Here is a list of common spam words / phrases.. This list comes from "WordPress" and are commonly used by Spammers..
I thought they might be handy for the "Bad Word" Filter to try and slow down spam posts on IndexU

Maybe people could keep adding words and phrases to the list??

I have a much smaller list on one of my sites available to users, but I wanted to mention that users should be careful of the words they add to the filters list.

just taking a look at the above list, vacation may be a common spam word, but it is also a common word for a lot of valid sites. Even more so if you run a general site as I'm sure there would be a holiday/vacation/travel section.

I'm not picking on the list, it is good. Just go through it and make sure that none of the words will be used on your site.

I totally agree with the above, I would not recommend just Copy and pasting the above list..

One of my IndexU is actually a travell / accommodation site, so I just delete the relavant words / phrases.

My list is more a compilation of spam words found on forums, rather than blogs. You'll notice I don't have cellular listed but I do have sellular. I've found that the forum losers that spam cell phones sometimes change cellular to sellular (probably because they can't spell) but they also use nokia and ringtone so it catches them either way. So here it is

Now we are on the "Spam Topic",.. I have a question that hopefully someone will be able to answer.
I am very lucky, I have not (yet) got a huge spam problem, but sometimes I get Spam that for example just says.. (pure example )

"He sailed the seas but never saw the book, but when returned he never got the bag"

So, just a bunch of words, no link nothing other than a riddle of words..

So my question is, WHAT do they achieve with this?? and WHY would they send such an Email??
