I have no idea how reliable this hosting company is, but I am not exactly blown away with their prices, I know of a few that offer (a lot) more than this one for less money...
But, saying that they might well be worth it.

They have a box at theplanet.com (Dallas TX) by their traceroute. It's a good datacenter, but past that it doesn't mean much. Any legit reviews I can see of them are from 2004/2005.

I don't know anything about any of the hosts you are asking about and I don't know what you are looking for in a host.

Check out C-4 hosting at http://www.c-4.us. It is run by FSGDAG from these forums. He is very reasonable and will help you in getting exactly what you need. This would be my #1 recommendation.

If that is not to your liking, try Dathorn at http://www.dathorn.com. I have used them for 3 years and never had any problems with any script I have ever installed. Very good support (tickets always answered within 10 minutes).

I hope you find what you need. I hated looking for a host, glad I found these 2 great hosting companies.

Looks to me like you signed up just to advertise. That's not permitted. There are no issues with your signature if you choose to become an active participant of the forum.

    Hi Bruce,

I have seen that some VBulletins to avoid this problem automatically ban new users to have signature or hyperactive links on their messages until they have been a member for minimum of 7 days AND posted at least 10 posts.

That could be a good idea to avoid potential spammers and misuse of the forum.

Yup, I have institued a TON of antispam features on the forum. And speaking of which, no one ever sees any spam do they? Yes it is entirely possible to lock down a vb forum and keep spam to zero (or near zero).

I guess signatures will need to be dealt with next, it's a constant battle. In some cases it's perfectly legit though. But a minimum post amount is the way to resolve these issues. If a user contributes to the forum I see no reason why they can't have a signature.

You don't notice it, but users that post with less than 5 posts (i think it's set to 5) are automatically moderated. This prevents users from seeing TONS of spam as spammers typicaly post url's in their message. However signatures are not passed by that check, a seperate check will need to be added for that.

I'll get this done soon as well.

    Hi
C-4 is down or something as I get an error when I try to check their site.

I then got an account with Dathorn, but after less than 24 hours I got an email from them that I am apusing proccesor , my base has 20k links and avarage page views are less than 2000 a day.
My account with them did not get propagated yet, and I am having problem, is there anything wrong with script or is it them?

    regards

    Hani
