Been spammed lately?

This is strange, but work with me here.

I have a very new site with indexu on it, there are only two registered users.

Myself, and another user.

Received a TON of spam submissions today, double checked that the setting "Only registered user can add new link" is set to yes. Bam, found a spammer.

So I go look up his account, and lo and behold he is using a yahoo mail account. No way could he be that dumb... lets go look.

Go to mail.yahoo.com and enter his yahoo email address, then his password he used in my indexu and "Welcome to Yahoo Mail"

So now I know his "real" email address and location (not address though, he never entered that, only zip code) and possibly a fake name.

Spammers are soooooooo dumb.

No, I do not show how many users are registered on my site, only number of categories and number of links <- I know someone is going to ask about that, so there's the answer.

It gets even worse, doing a quick google check on his username shows me over a dozen forums that he is a member of.

Guess where else his user/pass works?

If I didn't have morals this guy wouldn't have any accounts left or I'd make him look like a complete ass everywhere he goes.

Captcha will reduce spam, unless he use manual/semi-automatic software.
